4.1 How can I organize an event at Factory Berlin?
For smaller internal events / meetings: Corporate members can use the Kiefholz room, on the second floor of FGP, for DIY workshops and group event formats. The booking can be full-day (8am to 9pm) or half day (8am to 2pm/ 3pm to 9pm) on all working days, excluding weekends and holidays. The place is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If you want to book it, please send your request to reception via Slack, email or at the front desk. To get food and beverages for this space, please get directly in touch with Factory Kitchen: kitchen@factoryberlin.com
For larger internal events: We also have commercial event spaces on the 5th floor. With a Corporate Innovator Membership (former "Innovation Hub"), you benefit from a 40% discount on event spaces. In order to request an event, please fill out the following questionnaire with all the necessary information. Please note that you need to submit the request at least 5 working days before the event.
For Community events: To host a workshop session, a brunch, a fireside chat, an expert talk or sponsor e.g. our Friday's Community Check-out Drinks, please get in touch with our Community Events Team: sara.koller-alonso@factoryberlin.com or Slack: Sara_Factoryberlin.
Alternatively, please complete the following questionnaire to receive a response from the community team regarding availability, etc. This only includes events that are hosted by members for members without selling substantial tickets.
4.2 What kind of events are organized at Factory Berlin?
We carefully design and curate our events calendar to bring you the best content: fireside chats, hackathons, VC office hours, and more. You can review our event offerings and calendar on the Factory Berlin event website.
Additionally, we currently offer three corporate event formats: the Corporate Lunch Meetup, Reverse Pitch and the quarterly Futures Forum. The availability and dates of those can be found in our corporate newsletter, which you automatically receive after your Onboarding.
Our Monthly Corporate Lunch Meetup allows corporate members to experience open exchange with other companies and to meet in an informal environment to share and discuss their challenges, progress and initiatives. This event happens the first Tuesday in every month.
The Reverse Pitch gives you and other corporate members the opportunity to present your projects to get feedback and assistance from startups, the community, and a panel of consultants, founders and investors. This event happens each quarter and the dates will be communicated in the corporate newsletter. To participate with your project, please get in touch with your respective Corporate Success Manager.
For the Futures Form event we get together all our Corporate members and elaborated network for a half-a-day event to immerse ourself in a recent Corporate Innovation topic. We invite experts from academia, and practitioners like founders or corporate representatives to speak about their recent findings and own experiences. The event brings together perspectives from the new and old economy and should provide you with transferable insights for your projects. This event happens each quarter and the dates will be communicated in the corporate newsletter.
Please see below a picture of a Reverse Pitch event:
