6.5 What is the benefit of using Slack?
Slack is a cloud-based set of team collaboration tools and services and it is our most important communication channel. You can reach all our members, as well as all the corporate partners. Also, you can find all important announcements, information about various events, job offers, etc. from both Factory Berlin team and the whole Factory Family.
New team members are automatically added to the some common channels, such as #-01-announcements, #-04-intros, #-06-ask-factory-staff and #-07-factory-events. You can also join a new channel by entering it’s channel name in Slack. We have a channel called #collaboration-corner which welcome all corporate members to address their needs, challenges, or case studies.
You can find more information and functions here.
You cannot join Slack because of your company's legal requirements? Sad to hear, as Slack is our foremost medium of communication. Consider whether you would be interested in joining with your private email address and credentials.
6.6 How do I approach other corporate partners using Slack? (user group / collaboration corner)
In the Slack menu, click on ‘User Groups’ and send a message directly to the people in the specific corporate group. They are the contact person of our corporate members.
