Who are we?
This circle makes space for fundamental questions about technology, like
- What are we paying, when we’re paying attention?
- What principles of behavior allow people to flourish? How can tech support that?
- How can tech help us make better choices?
- What is time well spent? How can technology help us live by our values?
We envision a world where technology supports our shared well-being, sense-making, democracy, and ability to tackle complex global challenges.
Human beings act the way their environment tells them to. So, what kind of digital environment are we making, to bring out the parts of us that we love, and that we wish we were?
Join like-minded people - technologists, engineers, designers, psychologists, futurists, lawyers - in exploring what technology should be doing for us, why it so often isn’t, and how that can change.
We believe that there is a massive opportunity in building good technology — that amplifies what makes us brilliant, helps us live by our values, and be the people we wish we were. Our hope is that the exploration of these questions leads to many startups — that succeed by helping us become better humans.
We meet every second Thursday at 1 pm at FGP in room Sergey (1.3.2). We’ll chat about the questions and insights that move us. Meet people that create humane technology, and find inspiration about the future of technology.
We sometimes organize public meetups. These are pretty cool events. Check out the meetup here
